The MyPas Bluebell Trail Run at Dalkeith Country Park

This morning, my other half and I ran the 10k trail race set in the picturesque surroundings of Dalkeith Country Park. The MyPas Bluebell Trail Run is an event that offers the perfect balance of natural beauty and a challenging course. And with my new Altra Olympus 5 shoes, it was a fun and lighthearted experience. The shoes performed well and felt very stable on all surfaces. This run was to help break in the new shoes and train for a bigger event later in the year.

It is a beautiful course set in stunning surroundings. It is tough, with steep hills and uneven ground, but the stunning bluebells in full bloom helped me push through. The Altra Olympus 5 shoes felt comfortable and light on my feet, allowing me to maintain a steady pace. The MyPas Bluebell Trail Run is a challenging yet rewarding race. It was well-organized with great support from both the marshals and the crowds.

If you're looking to take on a trail race or push yourself to new limits, I highly recommend this race (and the shoes). Hopefully, we will be back again next year.
